In the Wars!!!!

Phew...what a week I have had so far. I slipped over in the bathroom on Tuesday about an hour before I went to work, hurt my wrist really bad, have only been able to take the bandage off today. THEN yesterday I sliced my hand on the cupboard door....and they say things happen in 3's...well they do...I hit the knuckle bone on the side of my foot on the skirting boards today....I think all these things happening mean I shouldn't move around at all :/.

Big weekend coming up. I am going to be doing a lot of Kms tomorrow. First to Joondalup to drop Cree off to movies, then 30 min drive in the opposite direction to drop Baylee off at dancing, then back to Joondalup to pick Cree up, then come home before going back in the Joondalup direction for netball. Then drop Cree's friend off at home, then take Baylee and her friend to a party!!!! OMG and that's just Saturday.

Sunday I have my work Christmas party. We're going Ten Pin Bowling. I'm actually quite excited about this as in the 20 years I've been working I have never been to a Work Christmas party.....Should be fun!!

Weekend with family and friends.

Had a really great weekend. Unfortunately Midnight Starz lost by 4, but it was a rough game and when it came to the crunch the other team had more steam in their engines. Spent Saturday night with some truly WONDERFUL friends, lots of laughs...thanks guys, the girls and I really did have a wonderful night. Then with 38 degree celcius heat here yesterday we had my brother and sister in law with their two kids and new puppy come round for a swim and a BBQ. So it was a really jam packed weekend.

Not a lot on today, babysitting my niece and the same new puppy today, then netball training and dancing run this afternoon.

A brief catch up!!!

Well how extremely fast the last 6 months have gone. So much has happened in that time. I have quit my job at Woolworths after ten and a half years. We've had dance comps for which Baylee and her Dance school have been very successful in. Cree got a part in her first ever school play. Celebrated hubby's 40th birthday in Melbourne/Mt Buller(So much fun...NO KIDS). Cree broke her ankle, which kept her out of netball for 8 weeks. We hosted a student,YUKI, from Japan, wow, was that ever so rewarding. I would do it again in a heartbeat!! Midnight Starz made the grand final, but lost. I started a Floral Art Design course(Which is a bit stagnant ATM, but I plan to rectify this today). Cree went to Japan for 2 weeks with the exchange program at school(so hard to let her go, but she had a wonderful time). I have a new little job at a local IGA(after 1o weeks off), just to keep me sane. Baylee has turned 13, WOW what a major event that was. I have just celebrated my 11th wedding anniversary. Lastly, Baylee went to camp this week!! Phew...didn't realise how busy I had actually been.

With 2010 coming to a close, I have so much still coming up. Baylee has her High School orientation day next Wednesday. Cree has a performance day next Friday. Baylee has her Primary School graduation(Assembly, then dinner/dance) in 3 weeks, school holidays starting in 3 weeks. Baylee's dance concert in 4 weeks, Christmas, and celebrations for our niece's 18th Birthday. WOW....I wonder when I will be able to relax again...certainly NOT in the near future. Bring on 2011!!

Well so much for this catch up being brief. However now I am up to date and can keep you all posted on everything I get up to.

Out with the old in with the new!!!

Hi and welcome to my new blog. I have deleted my old blog 'Scrappymum' as it was terribly neglected and as I haven't been doing much scrapbooking this year I saw no need to keep it.
This new blog will cover anything and everything that happens in my life. If I happen to get my mojo back and scrap... it will be posted to this blog. Birthday parties, graduations, holidays etc.... will all be posted here too!! Including my new little venture Floral Design. A course I am doing at the moment, with the objective of getting into Floristry when the course is over.
So I hope that you will follow me through my life experiences and that it(my life) will not bore you too much!!!
